The Absurdist Pipe Band are delighted to have been invited back to the world famous Rose of Tralee International Festival on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August 2015.
The Rose of Tralee International Festival is one of Ireland’s largest and longest running festivals, celebrating 57 years in 2015. The heart of the festival is the selection of the Rose of Tralee which brings young women of Irish descent from around the world to County Kerry, Ireland for a global celebration of Irish culture. The festival also includes street entertainment, carnival, live concerts, theatre, circus, markets, funfair, fireworks and Rose Parades.

The Absurdist Pipe Band will be bringing their entertaining mixture of street music, silly costumes and general tomfoolery to Ireland for the first time. Our wee tour will finish in Kilmihil, County Clare on Monday 4th August where you will find us playing on the streets during the Kilmihil Festival of Fun.

The Absurdist Pipe Band will be bringing their entertaining mixture of street music, silly costumes and general tomfoolery to Ireland again. Our wee tour will continue in Birr, County Offaly on Sunday 31st July. We will be playing on the streets as part of Birr Vintage Festival.

The Absurdist Pipe Band will be bringing their entertaining mixture of street music, silly costumes and general tomfoolery to Ireland again. Our wee tour will start in Waterford, County Waterford on Saturday 30th July. We will be playing on the streets as part of Waterford Spraoi, Waterford and Ireland’s international street arts festival.
