The Absurdist Pipe Band are delighted to have been invited back to the world famous Rose of Tralee International Festival on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August 2022.

The Rose of Tralee International Festival is one of Ireland’s largest and longest running festivals, celebrating 57 years in 2015. The heart of the festival is the selection of the Rose of Tralee which brings young women of Irish descent from around the world to County Kerry, Ireland for a global celebration of Irish culture. The festival also includes street entertainment, carnival, live concerts, theatre, circus, markets, funfair, fireworks and Rose Parades.

The Absurdist Pipe Band are thrilled to be returning to Kilmihil, County Clare.

As part of their “In These Shoes? I Don’t Think So.” Irish Bank Holiday Tour they will be bringing their entertaining mixture of street music, silly costumes and general tomfoolery to Kilmihil Festival of Fun on Monday 1st August 2022.

Catch us in the festival parade from 1pm and on the streets after that.

The Absurdist Pipe Band are delighted to be returning to Waterford, Ireland.

As part of their “In These Shoes? I Don’t Think So.” Irish Bank Holiday Tour once again be bringing their entertaining mixture of street music, silly costumes and general tomfoolery to The Waterford Spraoi, Waterford and Ireland’s international street arts festival, on Friday 29th July 2022.

Catch us doing walkabout performance starting at John Roberts Square at 3.30pm, 4.30pm & 5.30pm.

The Absurdist Pipe Band will be bringing their entertaining mixture of street music, silly costumes and general tomfoolery to Ireland again where we will be in Portlaoise, County Laois, on Sunday 26th June 2022. We will be playing on the streets as part of The Old Fort Quarter Festival.

As part of their “In These Shoes? I Don’t Think So.” Irish Bank Holiday Tour they will be bringing their entertaining mixture of street music, silly costumes and general tomfoolery to The Birr Vintage and Arts Festival on Saturday 30th July and Sunday 31st July.

Catch us at The Festival Market, The Arts Hub @ The Old Courthouse Yard and all over town for the afternoon.
