The Absurdist Pipe Band will be bringing their entertaining mixture of street music, silly costumes and general tomfoolery to Ireland for the first time. Our wee tour will start in Armagh, Northern Ireland on Friday 1st August at 12pm where we will be playing at Picnic Teaghlaigh, an Irish language picnic organised by Cairde Teo in the wonderful Navan Fort.

The Absurdist Pipe Band will be bringing their entertaining mixture of street music, silly costumes and general tomfoolery to the Commonwealth Games’ Queen’s Baton Relay celebrations in Milngavie on the afternoon of Saturday 19th July 2014.
The baton will be travelling throughout East Dumbartonshire and Milngavie will be having a day of fun and celebration after the baton’s visit.

The Absurdist Pipe Band will be bringing their entertaining mixture of street music, silly costumes and general tomfoolery to Ireland for the first time. Our wee tour will continue in Droghada, County Louth on Friday 1st August where we will be playing on the streets of the town in the evening.
The Absurdist Pipe Band at the Queen’s Baton Relay, Argyll
The Absurdist Pipe Band will be bringing their entertaining mixture of street music, silly costumes and general tomfoolery to the Commonwealth Games’ Queen’s Baton Relay on its journey through Argyll on Sunday 13th July 2014.
The baton will be travelling from Appin to Dunoon and we will be performing on the streets when is in Oban, Inveraray and Dunoon.
